After High School I joined the Navy to see the world. They taught me how to fix the ship’s television studio equipment, as well as some navigational equipment and telephones. As it turned out I was using the video equipment more than I was fixing it, producing nightly underway newscasts and programming ship’s entertainment. It was a dream job, and I’ve been in video production ever since.
After the Navy I met my wife Lauren as we traveled the country taping country western dance competitions and instructional videos with a small video production company out of Rockland MA. Jump forward a few years to where I worked for Comcast running a Public Access studio in Mashpee MA, where I taught folks how to produce their own TV shows, as well as editing with Final Cut Pro. During this time with Comcast I also served on production teams to create Video On Demand programming that was very popular. I was even honored with an Emmy nomination for editing a piece on the Provincetown Film Festival.
I really love what technology has done for the video production field. I’m using some fantastic DSLRs that shoot phenomenal HD video, and editing with Final Cut Pro. This equipment is what will help me and you tell a story or get an idea across in a dynamic, informative and entertaining way!
